Basketry World
I am having the most fun, I finally decided to do it, I always wanted to learn how to make a basket, little did I know just what I would be doing, and the strange dried out things hanging all over the house... oh my
Hey Sister Josephine, I'm glad you have a blog spot. Thanks for visiting me, I was sure surprised to see you here. Love you site and love all these baskets. I really hope to make some baskets as well. I do have a lot of pine needles here, do they have to be 9"? I'll have to go measure them. Your baskets are such a delight. You must be having a great time making them.
Tonight I listened to a small section of a PBS on our grandfather - Chief Coboway...it was a Lewis and Clark special. Wow, what a life, huh? No wonder we have these drives to creativity in our systems with all these wonderful direct descendants in our history. It's no wonder I have to find my way back to the ocean every few weeks, it's born into my blood.
I put some art dolls at my etsy site tonight. It took longer to make them then I thought it would, but I had to make the hands and the wings which took a little extra time. I'm having a lot of fun though and that's what's important.
Relaxing in the graces of the maker, amazed at the beauty and the complex divine nature that is surrounding each breath. Enjoying the Chair that holds us and allows each to see the world from our secure being. I am Mother of three, Grandmother of eight, keeper of none except in my heart I close my eyes and hold each one as to give comfort and serenity. Self reliant, industrious, up and coming entrepreneur.

Time has surely passed me by. I found this blog that I forgot I had. I hope I can figure out how to use it again
