Basketry World





I am having the most fun, I finally decided to do it, I always wanted to learn how to make a basket, little did I know just what I would be doing, and the strange dried out things hanging all over the house... oh my

Hey Sister Josephine, I'm glad you have a blog spot. Thanks for visiting me, I was sure surprised to see you here. Love you site and love all these baskets. I really hope to make some baskets as well. I do have a lot of pine needles here, do they have to be 9"? I'll have to go measure them. Your baskets are such a delight. You must be having a great time making them.

Tonight I listened to a small section of a PBS on our grandfather - Chief Coboway...it was a Lewis and Clark special. Wow, what a life, huh? No wonder we have these drives to creativity in our systems with all these wonderful direct descendants in our history. It's no wonder I have to find my way back to the ocean every few weeks, it's born into my blood.

I put some art dolls at my etsy site tonight. It took longer to make them then I thought it would, but I had to make the hands and the wings which took a little extra time. I'm having a lot of fun though and that's what's important.

Time has surely passed me by. I found this blog that I forgot I had. I hope I can figure out how to use it again
